Ash Ketchum (Japanese: サトシ Satoshi) is the main protagonist of the Pokemon movies Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!, Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us, and Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle. These movies are set in a different universe from the main anime series.
He was voiced by Rica Matsumoto, in the Japanese version, and by Sarah Natochenny in the English version, both voice his main counterpart in their respective languages.
Appearance[]
Like his main counterpart, Ash is a skinny, slender preteen with dark black hair, slightly tan skin, and brown eyes with two distinctive lightning bolt-like markings (maybe cheeks) underneath each one.
While Ash wears a few different outfits, he always wears a baseball cap. Without the cap, Ash is shown to have a cowlick and a narrow, triangular, and edgy tuft of hair in the middle of his forehead that comes to a point on the right side.
Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You![]
Ash wears an almost identical outfit to his main counterpart's original one; the differences are that the hat bears a logo similar to the one he has on his Sun and Moon series hat, except it is colored green and half of the upper section is missing, which gives it a similar appearance to the old logo. His jacket has pockets that are horizontal rather than diagonal, and he only has a single top button instead of two.
Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us[]
Ash still wears his original hat, but now wears a jacket that resembles the one his main counterpart wore in Unova complete with gray pants, black shirt, blue fingerless gloves and blue and white shoes with yellow laces.
Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle[]
Ash still wears his original hat, but now wears a jacket that resembles the one his main counterpart wore in Pokémon Journeys: The Series complete with dark gray pants with yellow pockets, white shirt with a Poké Ball print and white, yellow and blue shoes. Ash wore the same blue fingerless gloves he wore in Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us.
