Ashley Peacock was a major Protagonist in British Soap Opera Coronation Street. He moved to the street in 1995 and began working in the butcher's shop with his "uncle" Fred Elliott who later turned out to be his father.
Biography[]
Ashley lodged with Don Brennan to whom he was very loyal. Don took advantage of this and manipulated Ashley in order to frame him as being responsible for burning down the underworld factory which belonged to his sworn nemesis Mike Baldwin. Fortunately Fred worked together with Mike and they proved his innocence.
Ashley dated Maxine Heavey but then took in homeless teenager Zoe who he helped to regain custody of her daughter, Ashley then dumped Maxine in order to be with Zoey. When Zoe's daughter died her relationship with Ashley suffered and she ran off with a cult.
Ashley married Maxine and accepted her son Joshua as her own even after learning he was the result of a one-night-stand Maxine had with Matt Ramsden. After Maxine was murdered by Richard Hillman Matt considered seeking custody but chose to let Ashley have Joshua after seeing that he was a good father.
Ashley later married his nanny Claire Casey and had a son with her named Freddie. After Fred's death Ashley took over the business and employed Graeme Proctor after he was released from Young Offenders.
In 2010 Ashley attended Peter Barlow's stag party and gave his own life to save him and Nick Tilsley when an explosion ripped the bar apart.
