Astro is the pet dog of The Jetsons.
He is very friendly with the Jetsons family. Astro, the family dog from The Jetsons. Astro is also in the 1981 Saturday morning cartoon Space Stars, where he teams up with two other dogs named Cosmo and Dipper, led by their human leader Space Ace. Together, the trio act as galactic police officers and travel through outer space. Astro is voiced by Bill Thompson and Frank Welker.
Background[]
Prior to being a Jetson, his name was Tralfaz and he belonged to the fabulously rich Mr. J.P. Gottrockets. Astro is one of George's best friends, next to his work computer, R.U.D.I., as well as Elroy's best buddy.
Appearance[]
Astro is a gray dog with a white mouth and he has a black nose. He wears a dark green collar on his neck.
Personality and Traits[]
Astro is very loyal and cordial to the Jetsons family and he makes it his life goals to stay by their side. However, does get George hurt through his own stupidity as shown in the ending credits, but nevertheless, he means well. He is able to speak in a rough sounding English resembling dog barks and growls.
