Tobio Tenma, better known as Atom is the deuteragonist of the science-fiction manga and anime series Pluto by Naoki Urasawa. He's the series' version of Astro Boy.
He was voiced by Yoko Hikasa in Japanese and Laura Stahl in English.
Appearance[]
Atom is a pre-teen boy with short black hair.
Personality[]
Atom is portrayed as a positive boy with a highly positive nature. Despite being a robot and not an actual human being, Atom can be shown in his own joys in feasting desserts like all other kids of his age and appearance. He longs for acceptance and understanding from both humans and his fellow robots. One of the aspects that separate him from the others of his age is that Atom holds a strong sense of justice, loyalty, and devotion toward those he cares about. Naturally, he has also a more mature understanding of his surroundings, something that Gesicht already knew and even complimented that his artificial intelligence appears to be superior to his.
While showing himself as a happy and positive boy, Atom actually tries his best to cover his moved nature the best he can.
