Atra Mixta is a young girl who works as a cook for Tekkadan and one of the main characters of Mobile Suit Gundam IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS.
She is voiced by Hisako Kanemoto in the original Japanese version and by Cassandra Lee Morris in English.
History[]
As a young girl, Atra originally worked as a cleaner in a strip club until she left after being constantly mistreated by the women working there. Starving and with no place to go, Atra encountered Mikazuki Augus, who despite initially being reluctant offered her part of a sandwich he was eating.
From that day forward, Mikazuki and Atra became close friends and Atra began to develop a crush on Mikazuki. Mikazuki helped Atra get a job working for a shopkeeper named Haba so she could support herself, though Atra would occasionally pay visits to Mika and the other boys working in the Third Group of CGS. Through being taught by Haba, Atra learned to read and write.
After the children of the Third Group staged a revolt against the adults of the CGS and renamed the organization to Tekkadan, Atra quit her job as a shopkeeper's assistant to work as a cook for Tekkadan, and accompanied them as they escorted Kudelia Aina Bernstein to Earth. Despite initially seeing Kudelia as a rival for Mikazuki's affections, Atra would soon become close friends with her, especially after meeting Naze Turbine and getting the idea for her and Kudelia to be Mikazuki's "harem".
Atra would later become pregnant with Mikazuki's child. After the McGillis Fareed incident ended in the deaths of Mikazuki and several other members of Tekkadan, along with Tekkadan's dissolution, Atra became a farmer and married Kudelia. The two became the parents of Mikazuki's child, whom they named "Akatsuki" and raised together.
