“ | Those are trees. Real ones. They used to grow all around here. And people said that the touch of their tufts was softer than anything, even silk. And they smelled like butterfly milk. | „ |

~ Audrey |
Audrey is the tritagonist of Illumination's 3rd full-length animated feature film The Lorax, an adaptation of the Dr. Seuss book of the same name.
She is the 16-year-old next-door neighbor of Ted Wiggins who dreams of having legitimate trees be planted within their shared residence of Thneedville, which also conflicts with Aloysius O'Hare's artificial oxygen business. Through this, Ted was aspired to do so, where it involves the need of the Once-Ler's help. She also becomes Ted's love interest.
She was voiced by singer Taylor Swift, who ironically has no singing parts during the movie itself.
Appearance[]
Audrey is a 14-year-old girl that's taller than Ted, she has fair skin along with ginger hair and green eyes, she wears a yellow dress with orange flowers marked on it, paired with teal blue and green striped sleeves, she also wears cyan jeans and crimson boots.
Biography[]
The back of her house has Truffula trees painted on it, but her wish is to see a real one. Audrey is shown to be bright, friendly, and seems to be aware a little bit of Ted's crush on her. She's also very good at school; an example would be when Mr. O'Hare tries to convince the town that trees are bad.
She insistently reminds everyone that trees provide oxygen and reminds them of photosynthesis. She’s impressed by Ted's determination to fix things in Thneedville and bring back the trees. Audrey gives Ted a kiss on the cheek when he wins her heart.
