Aurora is a major supporting in the action light novel, manga, and anime series The Eminence in Shadow. She is an enigmatic entity with amnesia who is infamously known as the Witch of Calamity, the one to have caused havoc at some time several centuries ago. In present ages, she took possession of a teenage girl by the name of Claire Kagenou in an outcome of the Red Moon Incident. Her power is also being seeked by the criminal organization, the Cult of Diablos.
She is voiced by Kaori Nazuka in Japanese and by Shelley Calene-Black in English.

Aurora is a beautiful, slender, and elegent woman with long dark purpled-colored hair touching the floor, striking irises of purple colors, a beauty mark near down her the right side of her mouth, and exhibits an outsanding glamour. She appears to be in the same set of attire as she did a thousand year ago. Her attire comprises of a frilling skirt that raises from her waist, with dark teal color skirt and a second layer that is a paler teal color, both touching the floor, along with with her longest tail of hair tied with a golden hairtie. She has also few shorter set of hair tied. Above her exposed cleavage is a diamond-shaped jade and a circular shaped right below the right of her chest.
While possessing Claire, she can also alter her appearance between her own and her vessel's.
Personality[]
Aurora is a carefree, seductive and charming woman. Despite her lively and plafful personality and evident fondness for Cid, significant portions of her past remain obscure. Significant times of isolation have left resulted her with disjointed recollections, yet it emerges that she harbors more than she lets on initially. While delving into her past, she exhibits disillusionment and probable indifference towards her former self. Upon being freed from the Sanctuary, she requests Cid to terminate end her, whom she has also appeared to have affection for him; she had prior admitted to Claire that she envied the affection Cid had for his sister.

- Aurora may be aware of Earth, since she communed with Claire in an astral realm that appeared to be a Japanese school nurse's office, with Aurora dressed as a medical practitioner and Claire made to wear a Japanese high school gym uniform (although, a dated kind, since it had bloomers).
