The Autobots, formerly known as Miners, are the main protagonists of the 2024 science fiction action film Transformers One.

They were originally Miners, and later overthrow Sentinel prime’s regime and are now rebuilding Iacon after D-16/Megatron ordered its destruction against it until Optimus has defeated him and The High Guard, banishing them afterwards.

History

They were orginally miners who had to mine energon for Sentinel, but they quit after Optimus exposed Sentinel as a corrupt dictator who stole all of their cogs and bowed to the Quintessons as well giving them their energons as part of his bargain, with Optimus, Elita-1 and Bumblebee in charge, returned all the transformation cogs to their miners, they will now rebuild Cybertron to its former glory. They created a group known as the Autobots. However, they will face presumably threats be they the Quintessons or the Decepticons.

Trivia

• It is unknown how they got their symbol, probably Alpha Trion. Similarities to Decepticons are used Megatronus Prime as their symbol.
