Autumn Blaze is a supporting character in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She first appears as a major character in the episode “Sounds of Silence”.
She is played by Rachel Bloom; who also voiced Batgirl in Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Peachie Fluffton in Finding Cattella and Silver in The Angry Birds Movie 2.
Personality[]
Autumn Blaze is a very talkative and energetic pony, albeit a bit self-centered. Due to the long time spent all alone, she tries to do what she can to make friends, be able to sing, and make jokes again. She can also be insane, as she talks to herself and with imaginary friends that she always creates. She also has difficulty speaking as she hasn't done so in a long time.
History[]
Autumn first appears in "Sounds of Silence" when Applejack and Fluttershy arrive at Peaks of Peril for the mission given by the Friendship Map, where she seems to want to play a prank on them. Unlike the other Kirins, Autumn is very witty, talkative, funny.
He explains to them the reason for his kind, once they were sociable through a song "A Kirin Tale", but one day with a discussion among their own kind (which led to their Nirik forms), they accidentally destroyed the village and from 'now they decided that they would go through the Stream of Silence and repressed their voices and emotions to prevent it from happening again.
In her case, Autumn was bored by this and therefore went to a bed of foal's breath flowers, but the villagers were not happy that she was talking and the leader, Rain Shine, forced her to choose or start over. either to be silent or to leave, Autumn chose the second choice and went to live in a small cottage on the outskirts of the village.
Applejack and Fluttershy talk to each other about this, when the Kirins arrive and capture them by taking them to the Flow of Silence to silence them too, but at that moment Autumn in her form Nirik swoops over her and rescues them from her. She wishes, both Fluttershy and her partner Kirin, that anger is just another emotion and that what matters is what you do with them. She also wishes she really wanted to hear the jokes and songs of her old friends again.
All the Kirins are moved by these words and decide to restore their village as it once was, starting to talk and exchange feelings again. After Applejack and Fluttershy detect more breath than the foal, Autumn Blaze heals their silence by placing flowers in the village fountain and Rain Shine gives her permission to return to live in their village.
Autumn Blaze reappears in "The Ending of The End, Part 2" with the rest of the Kirin in the final battle against Queen Chrysalis, Lord Tirek, and Cozy Glow. She later attends Twilight Sparkle's coronation in "The Last Problem" and briefly appears in Applejack's photo during the song "The Magic of Friendship Grows".
