Axonn is a powerful warrior and a member of the Order of Mata Nui stationed on Voya Nui with his best friend Brutaka to guard the mask of life. When the infamous skakdi criminals called the Piraka invaded the island looking for the mask, Axonn aided the Voya Nui Resistance, the Toa Nuva, and the Toa Inika to fight the Piraka and Brutaka sided with the Piraka with the intention of killing the Piraka once they found the mask and claim the mask for himself.
