Ayane Matsunaga is a supporting protagonist in the video game Persona 4. She attends Yasogami High School as a first-year and is a member of the Yasogami Symphonic Band. She becomes friends with Yu Narukami if he decides to join the Yasogami Symphonic Band rather than the drama club. She, like Yumi Ozawa, represents the Sun Arcana in her Social Link.
She was voiced by Tomoka Endou in the Japanese version, and by Michelle Ann Dunphy in the English version.
Appearance[]
Ayane is a young female student with grey eyes, dark green hair, and rosy cheeks. She is most commonly seen wearing her black and yellow Yasogami High student uniform, but she also wears a pink dress and a red sweater jacket and carries a white bag on the weekends.
Personality[]
Ayane is very shy and timid, but also very ambitious, as she yearns to become a great musician someday, despite her general lack of skill. However, she tends to compare herself to others and has low self-esteem. People mistaking her for an elementary schooler due to her size is a pet peeve of hers and gets her quite angry.
