Sgt. Bell and Det. Stabler clashed when they first partnered together, with Bell concerned about Stabler threatening a witness. Stabler then accused Bell of profiling him, which resulted in Bell telling him that he does not know what it is like to be profiled Bell welcomed Detectives Freddie Washburn and Diego Morales to the Organized Crime Control Bureau. She later investigated a doctor named Laurence Valentine who was illegally administering COVID-19 vaccines to his rich patients for a large amount of cash.
A few weeks later, Bell met with her wife, Denise Bullock, at the hospital after her nephew, Damon King, was attacked by two cops during a chase after they falsely accused him of a crime he didn't commit. Stabler then offered his regards to Denise but Denise expressed hostility towards him. A few days later, Denise informed Bell that she was filing a lawsuit against the NYPD.
A few days later, Denise went public with the lawsuit against the NYPD which put Bell in a tight position. While Denise went public, Bell successfully arrested Richard Wheatley for the murder of Kathy Stabler and for several other RICO charges. Bell then got informed by Lieutenant Marv Moennig that her undercover informant, Gina Cappelletti, was found dead in a shallow grave in a forest. Bell then broke down in tears and went with Stabler to the medical examiner's office to see her body.
In May 2021, Bell and Stabler went to visit Angela in the hospital after she was poisoned by Detective Diego Morales under the orders of her ex-husband, Richard Wheatley. When Bell arrived at the hospital, Benson informed them that Morales was disguised as an orderly. Morales then approached them and started a hostage situation where he attempted to commit suicide. Morales then pointed the gun at Bell, causing her to shoot him to death.
Three months later, Denise gave birth to a son which they named Jackson Bell-Bullock. After Jack's birth, Bell reunited with her former commanding officer, Sergeant Bill Brewster, and was partnered with him to investigate the Kosta Organization which she sent Stabler to go undercover to infiltrate. Bell and Brewster came at odds during the case especially after Brewster revealed that a member of the Marcy Corporation was his undercover informant.
In 2022, Bell's wife separated from her and took their child with them after Bell successfully arrested Congressman Leon Kilbride for his involvement with the Marcy Corporation. A few months later, Bell met with Denise about custody of Jack which caused Denise to decide to get a divorce. While Bell was investigating Kenny Kyle for Henry Cole's murder, Denise called Bell after she was meant to take care of Jack. When Bell told Denise she was in the middle of a case, Denise furiously hung up the phone.
A few weeks later, Deputy Inspector Lillian Goldfarb visited Bell in her office. Goldfarb offered Bell a new position in the NYPD and told her that she might be shutting down the task force. A few days later, Goldfarb informed Bell that she's shutting down the task force and promoting Bell to deputy inspector. A few days later, Bell declined Goldfarb's job offer and decided to stay as commanding officer of the Organized Crime Control Bureau.
A few weeks later, Bell re-investigated the murder of her former partner, Detective Darryl Jennings, after new evidence proves that the accused, Octavio Montanero, was innocent and wrongfully imprisoned. When Montanero told Bell that Eamon Murphy murdered Jennings, Bell enlisted the help of her task force to investigate Murphy by having Jet go undercover to get information from his goon, Seamus O'Meara.
