B1 (short for Banana 1) and B2 (short for Banana 2) are a pair of twin anthropomorphic banana brothers and the titular main protagonists of the Australian children's comedy show Bananas in Pyjamas.
Biography[]
In their hundreds of appearances, B1 and B2 are thrill-seeking and playful with their teddy bear friends, Morgan, Lulu, and Amy, and the prideful Rat in a Hat (there are no other characters in the live action version).
They are even more active in their animated version, which has many more characters.
Appearances[]
In the original series, B1 and B2 are yellow bananas with yellow and black shoes, beady oval eyes and smiles. They wear pyjamas with blue and white stripes with buttons.
In the animated series, they have a different appearance from their original appearances. They have eyebrows, lips, tongues, teeth, blue eyes, golden shoes.
Personalities[]
They are exaggerated and naughty; and when they have a problem, they move their bodies round and round as the sound of a bass drum beats once (or sometimes a boing of a spring).
They are also friendly and fun-loving. They go out of their way to help their friends, even if their dimwittedness makes them guilty of many accidents which they always try to fix.
