Baby Donkey is the infant form of Donkey Kong and a supporting character in Super Mario Bros. series, first appeared in Yoshi's Island DS and returns in Mario Super Sluggers.
Biography[]
Bowser kidnaps all the babies in the Musrhoom Kingdoom, including Baby Donkey Kong. He is found after Yoshi beats the world 1 boss, and is used in Baby DK, King of the Jungle!, his first level. Baby Donkey Kong is the third baby the Yoshis give a lift to. Baby Donkey Kong can climb ropes and vines and throw eggs that explode on contact with the ground. He was the only child to have his own blanket colored brown. After Bowser and Baby Bowser are defeated in the castle, Baby DK is revealed to be one of the seven Star Children.
Baby DK returns in Mario Super Sluggers, as an unlockable playable character. You can unlock it in single player with Yoshi in DK Jungle. When the player searches for a certain tree in the lower left corner of the level, Baby DK will appear. If the player completes his challenge, he becomes available as a playable character in all modes.
