Banana Birds are a species of bird which resemble bananas and appear in the video game Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. They are children of the Banana Queen who live peacefully in the Northern Kremipsphere until K. Rool imprisoned their mother amongst the clouds.

Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble![]
Banana Birds can be found scattered across the Northern Kremisphere and are required to save in order to achieve the game's true ending. They can be found trapped inside hidden caves which require the Kongs to memorize an input sequence to set them free from crystal. Some are also kept by members of the Brothers Bear who will give them to the Kongs if they succeed in completing specific tasks. In the Game Boy Advance version of the game, Banana Birds can be given by Funky Kong, Cranky Kong, and Swanky Kong upon winning their respective minigames. Once all the Banana Birds are saved, they will carry Dixie and Kiddy Kong to the Banana Queen from Wrinkly Kong's Save Cave and break her free from a spell K. Rool cast upon her so she can banish him from the Northern Kremisphere for good.
Donkey Konga[]
Banana Birds appear as scenery in this game during each Performance Mode. They are perched on the lower half of the screen as the music plays but are absent during multiplayer mode.
