Bandit Heeler is the deuteragonist of 2018 animated TV series Bluey. Bandit is Bluey and Bingo’s Father.
He is voiced by David McCormack.
Description[]
Bandit Heeler is a 46-year-old anthropomorphic Blue Heeler. He is married to an anthropomorphic Red Heeler named Chilli Heeler. (Maiden name being Cattle). He spends his time either out in the field for work digging up Bones, or presenting his findings. He also participates in various games with his two daughters, Bluey Heeler and Bingo Heeler . He also goofs around with his mates when he gets the chance too. He has two brothers Stripe Heeler and Radley Heeler .
Personality[]
Bandit is a kind-hearted soul who does everything he can for his family. He lets his ego get the better of him sometimes though and he will sometimes make mistakes. But does what he can to correct them. He is incredibly goofy with his kids but gets quickly embarrassed to express it when he's out in public.
Strengths/Abilities[]
Bandit is shown to easily pickup and hold both Bluey and Bingo numerous times throughout the show. His core strength also really shines when he rips out the for sale sign that was in front of their house. Check Here for context. (Spoiler warning for "The Sign.")

Bandit is shown to be a very good dancer.
He does various different moves that no other character in the show is shown to do.

Similar to her older sister as mentioned. She doesn't have any actual powers.

Bingo fails to be able to communicate or at least be able to talk things out with Bluey whenever Bluey becomes bossy or rough. Sometimes at times it could be the other way around as well. With Bingo being controlling in some of the episodes.
Appearance[]
Bingo appears to be a Red Heeler aka an Australian Cattle Dog much like with her best friend/sister Bluey and her dad. Except she is more related to her mother Chilli who shares the orange-red hair.
Family[]
Everything in the family seems to be perfectly average, which is the most likely well-intended for the family to be portrayed and depicted as throughout the show to relate with the audience who are mostly young. The family is mostly featured more through the episodes, especially with the intros. Some of the episodes they are not there but at least through one of the episodes, you could expect the whole majority of the episodes to have featured the family members or made it based around on the family members and possibly if not rarely their friends. (Hence the fact that the show is targeted for a young TV-G audience.)

- Bandit's gone through 2 different designs before his finalized one. They are both shown in the unreleased pilots.
- His job is based on the show creator's brother. Who is also an archaeologist.
- He was labeled as "Father of the year" in 2019.
- Bandit's voice actor is the singer in his band called "Custard".
