Barnaby Brooks Jr. is one of the two main characters of Tiger & Bunny. Barnaby Jr. is a rookie superhero is partnered with Wild Tiger. He has the Hundred Power, the power to increase his physical capabilities (strength, speed, endurance, jumping ability, etc.) like Wild Tiger. He is rather more serious than his partner and believes in satisfying his sponsors than actual saving of people. He is very strategical and does not rely on sheer force. His parents were murdered and was adopted by Albert Maverick who became his surrogate uncle. He vows to avenge his parents, but he has unclear memories of who was the murderer of his parents.
Personality[]
Barnaby is the more level-headed than his partner, Kotetsu. Similarly to Koketsu, he is interested in doing good for the civilians in Sternbild City and is not completely motivated by fame and power that comes with his superhero status. He is determined to get to the truth of the murder of his parents and is willing to go after the villains responsible for the tragedy. When he realizes that Albert Maverick, the man he entrusts like a father-figure was the man responsible for his parent's deaths, Koketsu was willing to stop him at any costs and work alongside his partner, Koketsu, to stop him.
Barnaby often gets into verbal fights with Koketsu and often criticizes the latter. In spite of the conflicts in their relationship, they work well together and trust one another when faced with challenges or on a mission to stop criminals and supervillains.
