Barom 1, alternatively spelled Barom One, is the eponymous main protagonist of Chojin Barom 1. He is a superhero formed by the schoolchildren Takeshi Kido and Kentaro Shiratori combining together. The two were given the power to become Barom 1 by the incarnation of good Kopu in order to fight against Doruge, an entity who is the incarnation of evil.
Kentaro and Takeshi are portrayed by Hiroyuki Takano and Hitoki Iizuka. Barom 1 is voiced by Koichi Ueda from episodes 1 through 9, by Takeshi Kuwabara in episodes 10 and 11, and by Ichiro Murakoshi in episodes 12 through 35.
Biography[]
Kentaro and Takeshi came across one of their classmates being chased by Agents of Evil sent by Doruge. The pair helped her to get away, but ended up in peril near a cliff where they were surrounded by Doruge's Antomen. Seeing the boys' bravery, the incarnation of good Kopu gave them the power to combine and transform into Barom 1. From that point onward, the two boys would use their newfound powers to battle against Doruge and his Agents of Evil.
