Barry is one of the nine main characters of the KikoRiki franchise. He is an anthropomorphic bear who spends his time rendering to his garden and growing vegetables. Before moving to KikoRiki Island, he used to be a skilled disco dancer and a famed TV actor, playing the superhero Lucien.
He is voiced by Mikhail Chernyak in Russian, and by David Williams and Mike Pollock in various English dubs.

Past[]
As a child, Barry was often reprimanded by his father for not being manly enough. As he grew up, he became a skilled disco dancer. Eventually, he settled in Megapolis, where he became the star of The Lucien Show, playing the titular hero who fought the evil Dr. Caligari. Even though most of the hard work during the filming was done by stuntsmen, this role still brought Barry fame and wealth.
KikoRiki: Team Invincible[]
Before the filming of a highly anticipated battle in Caligari's lair, Barry suddenly called for a completely different story direction, so that Lucien would return home and start a family. Enraged, his director fired him, depriving him of all his possessions as per contract. At the same time, Wally, one of the KikoRiki Island residents who came to Megapolis to help "Lucien" fight Dr. Caligari but got detained, came to Lucien to ask for his help. Barry paid their bail, and since then they pursued him in a desire to become his sidekicks, until he and Wally finally explained to them that his show was a work of fiction.
Nevertheless, when Chiko got arrested after being framed for a museum robbery, Barry decided to help his fans. He and Eugene, the actor who played Dr. Caligari, devised a plan to infiltrate the prison and break Chiko out. Barry took pat in the rescue operation. Chiko, however, refused to leave without his friend Pin, so Barry helped break him out as well. Eventually, all nine runaways boarded a blimp that took them back to KikoRiki Island, and Barry and Pin stayed there ever since.
Personality[]
For the most part, Barry is a simple-minded, generous guy who is primarily concerned with tending to his garden. He is always ready to help his friends when they need him and will even risk his life for that purpose, even if at times he fears becoming a selfish coward instead.

- Judging from the way Barry crosses himself in a number of episodes, he is Orthodox Christian.
