Bastet is the supporting character and protagonist of Les Pyjamasques picture book series. She is an Egyptian goddess that is the guardian of the Solar Disc, and the daughter of Ra and Isis.
Personality[]
Bastet is supportive of the Pyjamasques when they are in need and demonstrates remarkable tenacity in a fight (particularly while facing off against Apophis). She occasionally comes out as being quite severe and protective in risky situations, though, and she first resisted receiving assistance from the Pyjamasques when it came to stopping Apophis from suckling the solar disc. Despite this, she discovers after the group assists her that Apophis would have destroyed the solar disc without their assistance.
Appearance[]
Bastet is depicted as having a lioness-like mask on her face and is dressed in a yellow costume with spots. On the rear of her costume are white wings-like capes.
