Batman/Bruce Wayne is the sworn protector of Gotham City and the main protagonist of Batman: Under the Red Hood.

History

Batman's parents was murdered as he was a child and taken in by his Butler; Alfred Pennyworth. As he grew up, he became Batman who is a masked vigilante and protector of Gotham City.

Batman soon recruited Robin (Jason Todd) as his new partner and soon was on the mission to stop Joker who was hired by Ra's al Ghul. Jason was captured by Joker and nearly beaten to death with a crowbar, the building he was inside then exploded after Joker escaped before the Dark Knight could save him.

A new crime lord known as Red Hood now terrorizes Gotham, Batman and Nightwing soon questioned Joker while he was imprisoned at Arkham Asylum. Batman eventually teamed up with Red Hood to take down a group of assassins. 

In the final battle, Batman fought and unmasked Red Hood, discovering Jason Todd beneath the helmet. Batman then soon finds out that Joker has been captured and a bomb sets off, Batman manages to survive.
