Beetle (Kubo And The Two Strings)

Beetle is the comic relief hero in kubo and the two strings. He is one of Kubo's allies. He is voiced by Matthew McConaughey

story

Beetle(back then Hanzo) was a legendary samurai who lived in the beetle palace & fought alongside his army. At some point in his career, he and his army marched through a blizzard and soon, the blizzard cleared. later on in his career, Hanzo fought against Kubo's mother (monkey), who was tasked for killing him, because the moon king was offended. the two threw a fight, and then came Hanzo's words that melted monkey's heart : "you are my quest". With these words, they eventually married each other and Kubo was born. Unfortunately, the moon king and monkey's sisters, feeling betrayed, stormed the beetle palace.The moon king took away one of Kubo's eyes but Hanzo and his army fought the moon king and the sisters, allowing monkey and baby Kubo to escape. All of the samurai vanquished except for Hanzo, who was cursed with memory loss and the form of a beetle like man.
