Benjamin Button is the titular main protagonist of the book The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and the movie adaptation. What sets him apart from other characters is that throughout the course of his life he ages in reverse and grows younger. The story consists of him falling in love with a woman named Daisy.
He is played by Brad Pitt, who also played David Mills in Seven, Rusty Ryan in the Ocean's Eleven trilogy, Aldo Raine in Inglourious Basterds, Don "Wardaddy" Collier in Fury, Frank Harris in Cool World, Jerry Welbach in The Mexican, Vanisher in Deadpool 2, voiced Sinbad in Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas, and Metro Man in Megamind.
Overview[]
Benjamin springs into being as an elderly man in a New Orleans nursing home and ages in reverse. Twelve years after his birth, he meets Daisy, a child who flickers in and out of his life as she grows up to be a dancer. Though he has all sorts of unusual adventures over the course of his life, it is his relationship with Daisy that plays the major part of his life, and also drives Benjamin forward.
