Benten is a supporting character of the 1978-1987 romantic comedy manga series Urusei Yatsura, as well as its 1981-1986 and 2022 anime television series adaptations of the same name.

She was voiced by Yūko Mita in the 1981 original series in Japanese and Shizuka Ishigami in the 2022 reboot in Japanese and Natasha Malinsky for Movie 1, Satu Rautaharju for Movies 3, 5-6, Elissa Cuellar, and Annie Wild as young in the 2022 reboot in English.

Benten is shown with dark hair, pale skin, a red outfit, and a chain.

Biography

Benten is a friend of Lum, Ran, and Oyuki. Although a member of the Gods of Luck gang, Benten probably doesn't like having despites with Lum, whom's Oni race the gang opposes annually. In fact, the two girls are part of the feared trio alongside Oyuki. Benten is a good friend to earthlings, she will  appear at Lum's place even if it's not Setsubun! Although there is no knowledge that Benten will have a boyfriend, she is seen with Ryuunosuke on her father's issues, and when teased Ryuunosuke might love her, she gets excessively flustered.
