In the science fantasy sex comedy action manga Rosen Garten Saga, Beowulf (ベオウルフ, Beōrufu) is the king of of Götaland and a returning participant in the Rosengarten Schlacht.
Appearance[]
Beowulf is a towering, bearded giant with thick and corded muslces for someone his age. Unlike a majority of the people, he often wears heavy armor with a flowing regal cape. Sitting atop his head is a crown and a moustache styled upward. He leaves his lower body and very sizable private part exposed, to enable his Three Sword Fighting Style.
Personality[]
Beowulf enjoys battling powerful opponents, the excitement he derives it giving him an erection which he then uses in battle. He is very honorable, a trait that draws people to follow him. In the Rosengarten Schlacht he chose not to eliminate his opponents but instead shared his treasures and offered them the chance to follow him, forgoing the idea of thinning out the competition. When battling Lofn he held back as to not seriously injure her in order to push Gawain's to his limits so they could have a good battle, and after even apologized to Lofn for harming her, and to his new followers for not leading them to victory as he promised. After finally losing in the third round against Alibaba, he accepted the loss gracefully, giving him/her a penis bump and requesting to fight again someday.
History[]
Beowulf has participated in the Rosengarten Schlacht in the past. He is well known and loved within Burgundy. When Unferth was younger he challenged Beowulf to a duel. At some point in the past he battled Hildebrand, though no clear victor was declared. In the current Rosengarten Schlacht, Beowulf won his first round fight against Takeru, and his second round fight alongside Tsuchigumo against Attila and Fafnir. In the third round, he fought alongside Wiglaf and Unferth against Alibaba, Aladdin and Sinbad, finally losing in a climatic solo duel against Alibaba when the Thousand Pleasures nanomachine tendrils forced him to unleash a full blast from his Final Erection into his face.
Abilities[]
Beowulf is enormous man, much larger than the average person. His body has enhanced durability, and his penis is nearly indestructible even in comparison, which allows him to fight with his penis while remaining unscathed most of the times. Beowulf is very strong, capable of wielding a giant sword with just one hand, and defeating monsters with his penis alone. He possesses a power which Orochi describes as the might of the gods dwelling within him. Beowulf likens Gawain's empowerment under the sun to his own abilities.
Three Swords Style: Beowulf method of fighting makes use of three swords, a giant unnamed sword wielded in his right hand, Hrunting in his left, and his giant penis acting as a third sword. Most of the time he will only use one or two of his swords, saving his three swords style for worthy opponents.
- Hrunting: The smaller of Beowulf's swords, it glows with a strange aura. The blade originally belonged to Unferth, who is the only one capable of using the blade's true power.
- Penis Sword (チン剣, Chin Ken): Beowulf's penis which he leaves exposed at almost all times and acts as his primary weapon. When erect it reach over Beowulf's own head, being larger than some others in their entirety. It is shown being capable of parrying and breaking blades, slicing through monsters, and withstanding dragon's flames. At full erection, when enhanced by Alibaba's nanotechnology, it was capable of splitting a small mountain in a single full strength swing. He can also spin it similar to a helicopter blade, both to block projectiles and achieve flight. When full erect, Beowulf is capable of unleashing a powerful blast strong enough to wipe out countless Roc Drones. After firing, Beowulf is left flaccid.
