Beretta is an supporting character in the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. They originally served for Rimuru Tempest to watch over Ramiris before ultimately serving for Ramiris as their Primary.

Appearance[]

In their demon original appearance they resemble a large Demonic Humanoid.

After possessing and merging with the Golem they reassemble more humanoid like with grey hair and feminine frame that can make them mistook for female. In the Light Novel their eyes are yellow but in others they are red.

Personality[]

Beretta has calm and rational personality as unlike other demons doesn't show to seem sadism save for minor mischievous moments and sometimes prone to getting nervous seemly inherited from Ramiris.

They are ultimately loyal to Rimuru and Ramiris willingly gonna risk their lives to protect them.

History[]

Beretta would be summoned by Rimuru Tempest after having to make for Ramiris after destroying their Elemental Colossus where he formed an contract with the demon and named them Beretta before possessing the golem body made ready.

They would sense Rimuru being trapped in Hinata Sakaguchi and ultimately obtained an unique skill where they and Ramiris would go to the Jura-Tempest Federation to warn Rimuru of Clayman’s scheme. Beretta would accompany Ramiris to Walpurgis and help against Clayman.

Trivia[]

According to series crestor Fuze he based them on Saber and that their face under the mask is similar to hers. He even personally requested her actress to voice the character though only applies to her Japanese voice actress since Beretta wasn't voiced by Saber's English dubber actress.
Beretta's pronouns varies on the adaption:
- In the Light Novel Beretta uses male or They/Them pronouns depending on the translations.
- The Manga and ISEAKI Memories refers the character with male pronouns.
- In the Anime Beretta was referred with female pronouns instances, likely due to their female-like sounding voice making the translators mistaken Beretta as female.
