So whn they go to the foster home and Lois tell them where they went. Bernie take the defense of the kids by making a excuse for them for not be grounded in their room he warned them he do not want to hear about their tricks again. When he was to his house with hiswife he talk about the kids Bernie finally said they are very touching. So he go to their foster and bring them with himy told them he finally found the perfect family for them. But they rejected the proposition because he said it was far away. When Andi and Bruce get caught in the hotel he to make a please with Carl and Lois but he failed he have no choice to separated the two kids. after he go to the old hotel for see what the kids done in here and why they hide all of the lost dogs. When he was reading the name in the visitor book he meet Rocky who was the only dog to not be captured during the decent. He finally dicover all of the wonderful things the kids done. He knew hey were saving the dogs. When all the dogs return to the hotel he appear upstairs and finally made a statement for make everyone see what e kids done for all of the dogs. Him and his wife adopted Andi and Bruce at the end of the movie.

Bernie Wilkins is a very kind and friendly social worker in Hotel for Dogs. He is played by Don Cheadle.
