Egbert "Bert" and Sheila are a major recurring character from the FOX animated series, Family Guy. They are an interracial couple who work at the co-bosses of Pawtucket Brewery, replacing the late Angela. Unlike his previous bosses, Bert and Sheila are not annoyed with Peter's antics, as in their case, it's them who are the annoying ones, making Peter do painful, embarrassing, stupid, and overall pointless tasks, indirectly dishing out some long overdue karma onto him for everything he put Angela and all of his other bosses through. They first appeared in "Pawtucket Pete".

Bert and Sheila are voiced by Bryan Cranston and Niecy Nash, respectively.

Heroic Acts

• In "Pawtucket Pete", Bert and Sheila heroically seized control over Pawtucket Brewery, when the factory was in turmoil and utter chaos due to the untimely death of Angela. The employees of Pawtucket desperately needed a new leader. Fortunately, Bert and Sheila took over and straightened things out. They were really good bosses and they gave Pawtucket Brewery a complete makeover when they replaced the old mascot, Pawtucket Pat with Peter Griffin, knowing that nobody could relate to Pat. When Peter destroyed a parade float with a harpoon gun, Bert and Sheila rightfully revoked his mascot rights and fired Brian for some reason.
• In "Trans-Fat", Bert and Sheila gave Peter several priveledges and rewards such as a raise, supplemental time off, and his own bathroom, after hearing he was a transgender. They also paid for Peter's transgender surgery to help him truly become a woman. Sheila helped Peter learn about how to be a woman by having her go to the coffee shop with her so she could chit chat with her female friends.
• In "Start Me Up", Bert noticed that Peter's constant sweating was causing trouble at the brewery, even making Oscar slip and fall. Knowing that this was a danger, Bert sent him to work from home until he could get his hectic hyperhidrosis under control.

• Bert and Sheila are Peter's collective fourth boss, following Mr. Weed, Hennesey, and Angela.
• Bert and Sheila are designed to look similar to their voice actors, Bryan Cranston and Niecy Nash, respectively.
• Sheila's parents are unhappy with the fact that she married a white man.
• As revealed in a deleted scene from "Pawtucket Pete", Bert's full name is "Egbert".
• Peter is sexually attracted to Sheila, as seen in "Pawtucket Pete" and "Family Guy Lite".
