Elizabeth Boland, nicknamed Beth, is one of the three protagonists (alongside Ruby Hills and Annie Marks) of the 2018 Netflix comedic series Good Girls.
Formerly an exemplary housewife, Beth had to turn to a life of crime to fix her cheating husband’s financial mistakes to keep her house and children. However, the three women are then stuck with criminal boss Rio whom they stole from and must survive without their family learning.
She is portrayed by Christina Hendricks.

Early life[]
Rewinds show that Beth had an alcoholic mother, forcing her to take care of Annie since theyr kids. Beth quickly had to adapt into being mature and always there for everyone. She and her high-school sweetheart Dean quickly married to merge their finances.
Turning into a life of crime[]
The Husband’s affair[]
In the Pilot, Beth is getting a hot wax and her credit card is declined. She discovers that Dean spent money on lingerie. Investigating, she finds out that Dean is having sex with his secretary.
The Robbery[]
Elisabeth confronts Dean about the depth their in. He explains that he made a few bad descisions at work. Ultimately, Beth plans to rob the grocery store her sister Annie works at, to save their family. Annie is going through a custody battle and cant make ends meet with her minimum wage job. They let their friend Ruby in the gang whose money problems originate from the high medical bills of her sick daughter. They suceed with the robbery but get a visit by a gang who lets them know the money they stole is counterfeit from them using the supermarket as part of their money laundering scheme. The trio now needs to find a way to get rid of the money.
Personality[]
Beth is very smart and caring. She gives good advice and is nice to others. It's often shown that she feels bad about the people she is hurting with crime.
