Big Macintosh (aka Big Mac) is a red stallion from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. He is the grandson of Granny Smith and the older brother of Applejack and Apple Bloom. He is a very gentle and hardworking pony who usually only speaks by saying "Eeyup" or "Nope".
In Heart and Hooves Day, the Cutie Mark Crusaders used a love potion to make Big Mac fall in love with Cheerilee. After discovering that the potion had disastrous consequences, they found a way to to break the spell. Despite Big Mac and Cheerilee being no longer lovers, they are apparently still friends as they were seen together in Just For Sidekicks. He got a new love interest just after Cheerilee, in season 7 when he falls in love with Sugar Belle, from Our Town, after he and the Cutie Mark Crusaders visited the village in Hard To Say Anything. Sugar Belle got angry when him and a other pony tried to get her heart and almost destroyed her cake business, but eventually she and Big Macintosh seem to have feeling for each other, and they eventually get married.

According to My Little Pony fans, his voice sounds a bit like Yogi Bear, particularly in "The Cutie Pox" when noticed that in some instances when he says "Eeyup" or "Nnnope" after Applejack goes "Li'l Apple Bloom has finally blossomed, hasn't she, Big Mac?". His baritone voice also sounds a little similar to the late Ed Gilbert's baritone voice for Gus from Kissyfur, especially since Gus at one point DID say "Eeyup!" His another voice almost sounds deep enough to match the late Thurl Ravenscroft's voice of Tony the Tiger, the advertising cartoon mascot for Kellogg's Frosted Flakes breakfast cereal.
