Big the Cat is a supporting character in the Sonic X series.
He is a large anthropomorphic cat from Sonic's world who got sent to Earth for a little bit due to Chaos Control. Despite his size, Big is gentle and kind. However, he is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Big spends most of his time fishing and relaxing with his best friend Froggy.
He was voiced by Oliver Wyman in the English version, and by Takashi Nagasako in Japanese version.
History[]
Big makes his first appearance sleeping next to a lake with Froggy next to him, but wakes up with a start when he inadvertently hears the alarm from Eggman's base when Sonic attacked her. He later saw the glow coming from the base when Chaos Control showed it to him. Having been caught by the glow along with Froggy, Big's fate remained unknown for some time, but was revealed to be okay as he eventually encountered Christopher Thorndyke and Cream the Rabbit.
