William "Billy" is one of the titular main characters of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. Billy lives in Endsville with his overprotective parents, Harold and Gladys.
He was voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz, who also voiced Alpha 5 & 7, Daggett the Beaver, Grey Matter, Raz, and Zim while in the 3DS version of Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion he was voiced by Quinton Flynn who did Sheldon Lee.
Personality
He deeply cares about his friends and will do just about anything for them. He at sometimes can be an antagonist when he gets very angry and delusional. He has a fear of spiders, (especially towards Jeff his spider son), clowns (he overcame it in season 3, though in the "Big Boogey Adventure" special shows that he still dreads them) and mailmen.
He is enthusiastic and very curiously and dimwitted like his father, Harold.
Appearance
He is short and has no neck. He has a big nose like his father does as well. He wears a white t-shirt with a horizontal blue stripe. He wears dark blue pants with white and red sneakers. He also wears a red baseball cap (with the bottom of the flap of his cap being either brown or red).

- His intelligence can also affect reality (similar to Mandy's smile) in "Billy Gets an A".
- Like how Mandy is mistaken for a boy more than once, Billy has been mistaken for a girl.
- He's only been called William in two episodes ("Smarten Up" and "The Bubble with Billy").
- He's implied to be in the second grade, having told Grim that he gets to "repeat the second grade, again!"
- He is afraid of spiders (revealed in "The Crawling Niceness") and clowns (revealed in "Attack of the Clowns").
- In "Billy and Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure", it is revealed that he had three fears: spiders, clowns and the mailman. He has an extreme fear of the Spider-Clown Mailman.
- He's scared of spiders because the Marshmallow Monster scared him with spiders when he was a baby, as revealed in Underfist: Halloween Bash.

- Billy is responsible for Irwin's crush on Mandy; in the episode "Get Out of My Head!" (Irwin's debut), he flirts with Irwin while in Mandy's body, causing Irwin's emotional state to switch from frightened of Mandy to smitten by the remarks that Billy (in Mandy's body) makes.
- An alien in the Ben 10 series is based on Billy. The alien is orange, scaly and bloated with a large orange and pink nose, pointed ears and bad teeth. It is voiced by Richard Steven Horvitz and wears a blue and white striped shirt, and a red hat. It's species is named the Maxatomar (named after Maxwell Atoms).
- Billy's voice actor is Richard Steven Horvitz in the series (who also voices Harold), but in Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion (in the 3DS version), it is Quinton Flynn. However, in the console version, Richard Steven Horvitz reprises his role as Billy. Billy may be older than Mandy since his birthday party was celebrated in the 7th episode 'Tastes Like Chicken'; and her party was celebrated in the episode 9th episode 'A Grim Surprise', even though her actual birthdate was not for another "5 months."
- In the Holiday special episode "Billy and Mandy save Christmas"; it was revealed that Billy and his family celebrate Hanukkah, which is a Jewish holiday -- however, the way he reveals this indicates that he and his family only celebrate it to get more presents (Hanukkah lasts for eight days while Christmas is only one day).
- A lot of the episodes consist of Billy ending up in some sort of peril of predicament; either because of his own foolishness or just his bad luck, and Mandy and Grim always having to go after him for a rescue.
