Birdperson is a major protagonist in the Adult Swim animated series Rick and Morty.
He is a birdlike alien from Bird World that became a rebel against the Galactic Federation after it conquered his home. He would go on to team up with Rick Sanchez, eventually becoming his best friend, as the two would against both the Federation and alternate versions of Rick. Birdperson would eventually get killed by the Federation and reconstructed into the cyborg Phoenixperson to fight against Rick and other rebels, though would later be revived in his original form.
He is voiced by the series' co-creator Dan Harmon.
