Biography[]

Early Life[]

Felicia Sara Hardy is the daughter of Walter and Lydia Hardy, with her father being a world renowned cat burglar who told his daughter to never settle for second best. During her years in college, she was nearly raped by a drunken student until she was saved by another student named Ryan. Felicia became friends with Ryan, but it ended when he demanded that their relationship to become physical. Hating the idea of being a victim, Felicia decided to murder Ryan for his actions, beginning to train in various fighting styles and acrobats. After preparing for months, Felica set out her revenge to kill Ryan, but he was killed in a drunk driving accident before she could.

Becoming Black Cat[]

Felicia was angered that she was denied revenge, and wanting to utilize her new skills, decided to follow her father's footsteps as a cat burglar. After being arrested by the cops, she was freed by her father's mentor, Black Fox, and took Felicia in as his new pupil. After getting great fortune from stealing, Felicia adopted a new costume and identity as the "Black Cat", and decided to break out her father from prison. During the prison break, Black Cat ran into Spider-Man, whom she felt had a kinship with the lone superhero. Felicia then focused her time on trying to win Spider-Man's trust and affections, even going as far to fake mental instability.
