Black Hole is a male contestant on Battle for BFDI and The Power of Two.
He was first seen in "Gardening Hero" (known as "Vortex" back then), pulling Spongy in, and eventually being sold because of budget cuts.
He is a former recommended character who could have participated in BFDIA. However, Black Hole only received 269 votes and was sent to the TLC.
He also had another chance of joining the game in IDFB, but it was postponed. He got 323 votes, placing him 10th.
In Battle for BFDI, Black Hole competed on Death P.A.C.T. until he switched to TPOT in "The Escape from Four".
In Battle for Dream Island: The Power of Two, Black Hole competes on Death P.A.C.T. Again.
Appearance[]
Black Hole's design is made up of two parts, his event horizon and accretion disk. His event horizon is a perfect circle and is solid black as it absorbs all light. Surrounding his event horizon is a gassy accretion disk with 6 different colors mainly blue, green, and red and some purple, yellow, and orange, His accretion disk is mostly seen in white. His accretion disk is very transparent, and it slightly glows.
Personality[]
Black Hole's personality is the opposite of his destructive nature. Black Hole is a kind-hearted individual, he is empathetic and patience and never raises his voice. Black Hole values life more than anything and will do everything in his power to prevent death, even going as far as to put himself in harms way to save the lives of others. When Black Hole does accidentally kill someone, he is very upset with himself for it. He never wants to start conflict or harm others, and he is very caring and respectful of others. Black Hole is very intelligent and is excellent at coming up with strategies to help him and his team succeed at their goals. Black Hole however, can be a bit of a push over, as some characters have got him to do things for their own self-gain despite him not wanting to do them at first. He can be rather passive-aggressive towards those who may have said something to offend him. Despite Black Hole having immense power, with even his presence being able to destroy anything that gets too close to him such as entire planets and stars, he does not use his power for malicious intentions, showing that he has a high level of self-control and willingness to interact with others without destroying them.
Abilities[]
- Flight: Black Hole is one of the few contestants that can fly. Black Hole is a very fast flyer, being able to cover large distances in a matter of seconds.
- Singularity inducement and Gravity Generation: Black Hole generates a strong gravitational force that can pull anything near him into his event horizon including things such as light, matter, and energy. However, he's gained control of this ability and is capable of pulling things without absorbing them. He also can use this power to give others a boost upwards to higher areas as shown in BFB 11 and BFB 15.
- Reality warping: In BFB 3, Black Hole says he can warp space-time so hard that time would slow down. Black hole can also bend and break the laws of reality and physics.
- Compression and spaghettification: Anything that enters Black Hole's inner event horizon is torn apart into its smallest subatomic components and compressed down infinitely, which will then be squeezed into his singularity. Black Hole can also stretch objects : for example, he stretched Pen's arm in BFB 1.
- Mass manipulation: Whenever Black Hole absorbs anything his mass and diameter will increase depending on how much matter he absorbs. In BFB 4, he gradually increased in size when he was absorbing thousands of forks.
- Nigh-invulnerability: Black Hole is immune to physical, mental, and possibly magical damage and effects; the only thing that can harm him so far is the Anti-Flying Button.
- Intangibility: Black Hole is intangible as he has no physical tangible surface. Despite being intangible, he can still affect things that are physical, But it doesn't work the other way around, he is unaffected by physical objects and forces. However, there are some beings that can affect him, Four can bypass Black Hole's Intangibility and perform feats such as holding and moving him around. David can also pick up Black Hole, but only in The non-canon BFDI Official Character Guide Scholastic short.
- Energy independence: Black Hole can sustain himself without consuming any form of matter or energy for quadrillions to quintillions of years. Black Hole also doesn't seem to have a need for sleep, and he isn't shown to get tired from anything.
- Oxygen independence: Black Hole is unaffected by the lack of oxygen in the vacuum of space.
- Zero-dimensionality: Black Hole stated that he is a infinitely small and dense point (a singularity).
