~ Blind Mud Puddle Johnson to Red Guy |
Blind Mud Puddle Johnson, better known as "The King of the Blues", is a character from the Cartoon Network series Cow and Chicken and a renowned Blues singer in the bayou, who appeared in The Cow and Chicken Blues.
He was originally voiced by B.B. King, but he was impersonated by Greg Eagles.
Biography
In The Cow and Chicken Blues, Cow and Chicken were told by Mom and Dad to visit Blind Mud Puddle Johnson, who lives right next door on the bayou. As they meet with Blind Mud Puddle Johnson, he sings a blue song about a red pantless gator man named Lance Sackless and an alligator who got his pants. But the song did not seem to be that much of a blues song. Turns out, Blind Mud Puddle Johnson was replaced by the Red Guy, who had imprisoned Johnson in his own house. After Cow and Chicken freed Johnson, he sang a song about the Red Guy getting eaten by a large alligator.
Trivia
- Despite his name, Blind Mud Puddle Johnson isn't really blind.
- Unlike most of the characters in the series, Blind Mud Puddle Johnson appears to be the most normal character, without unusual traits, insane/odd behavior or disturbing moments, other than his impressive ability to control events through song and pretending to be blind.
