Blooregard Q. Kazoo (simply known as Bloo) is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Mac) of the Cartoon Network series, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. He is the only character to appear in every episode. He is known as Mac's best imaginary friend. Bloo has an alter-ego named Bloo-Superdude.
He is voiced by Keith Ferguson, who also voiced Basch in Final Fantasy XII, and his twin brother, Gabranth, in the Dissidia Final Fantasy series, and Lightning McQueen in Cars Toons. In the Japanese dub of the series, he was voiced by Noriaki Sugiyama.
Appearance[]
Bloo is a blue-colored, dome-shaped, cylinder-like, blob-like, and blanket-like imaginary friend with curved arms, bulging eyes, a little mouth, and stubby hands that are fingerless. He stands at two feet in height and weighs ten pounds when dry.
History[]
Bloo is Mac's blue and cylinder-domed no. 71 imaginary friend and best friend who is often very immature, self-centered and egotistical as well as having a knack for getting in trouble and prone for doing kid's and children's antics. Despite all this, he still has a good heart and apologizes for his actions. Bloo loves paddle-balls even though he cannot make the ball hit the paddle. Bloo used to live with Mac and his family (which consists of his mother and his mean-spirited older brother Terrance), but when Mac turned 8, his mother told him that he was getting too old to have an young imaginary friend blue blob and told him to get rid of Bloo. Because of this, Bloo now lives in Foster's Home, a place where imaginary friends who have outgrown their creators live and are well taken care of until they are adopted by another child. Bloo has permission to live there permanently as long as Mac regularly visits. So far, Bloo is the only imaginary friend that we know the full story of.

- When Berry tried to kill Mac, Bloo rescued him with an automatic Paddleball sending Berry on another giant Rubberband Ball roll,
- In Nightmare on Wilson Way - when Bloo about to escape but he realizes Mac still in room but crawling with zombies, he couldn’t leave Mac behind he decides to go back rescued Mac before he turns into zombie with get Coco and Eduardo assisted him go back rescued Mac.
- In Seeing Red - Bloo manage be there right on time to defeat Terrence to save Mac by popping in and out of Terrence's clothes, leading Terrence to accidentally hit himself repeatedly.
- In The Sweet Stench of Success - Bloo feel remorse for he made horror mistakes by joining Kip Snip in his tv show to Hollywood and won't see Mac again, Bloo manages tip hidden messages, so Mac and others see Hidden massages need help, he stands up to Kip Snip front everyone in pubic, reveals that Deo deodorant is a phony, get Kip Snip arrested by Polices.
- in Destination Imagination - Bloo be assist Mac and others find Frankie somewhere in Toy Box World on journey, he helps Mac and others fought back one of Weeble-like policeman by throwing Lego bricks, and gooey, sticky canyon full of clay-gunk zombies by get Coco assist to throwing Coco's Eggs at clay zombies so he can buy Mac time find way break through bricks cubes, Final battle to World Bloo fight back by throw some random junk at World, so Bloo encourage Eduardo fight back to World after Wilt and Coco was defeat by the World
- in Cuckoo for Coco Cards - When Bloo finally open Coco eggs to see his baseball card then he realizes all of his stats are negative, with his personality being labeled as "Big insensitive jerkface", he made up with Coco by burn his obsessed his card collection in a fire, he apologizes Coco for his behavior.
Trivia[]
- Bloo is the only character to appear in all the episodes and shorts of the series and is never absent.
- Bloo has been criticized harshly by some of the viewers of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends because he is extremely unpleasant, rude and selfish in episodes, though he’s normally better received than one-shot character Bendy.
- Bloo (along with Duchess) is one of the only two characters who doesn't like Uncle Pockets.
- In the Foster's Home pilot "House Of Bloo's" it is revealed that Bloo is spineless.
- Bloo is allergic to tomatoes.
