Blossom is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Blue) of the 2024 live action/animated fantasy comedy film IF.
She is voiced and motion-captured by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who also voiced L3-37 in Solo: A Star Wars Story and portrayed Helena Shaw in Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.
Appearance[]
Blossom is an anthropomorphic butterfly with the appearance of a rubber hose cartoon character, reminiscent of 1930s-era animation. Her attire is a pink shirt with puffy sleeves, a black waistcoat with red suspenders, white gloves, a green scarf, (which is, in fact, her wings) a pink tutu and pink ballet slippers.
Personality[]
Blossom is very polite. She is shown to care a lot about the ones she knows, as she constantly tells Blue to stop scaring Bea, and had made up a way to calm Blue down. She offers Bea a cup of tea in an attempt to calm her nerves.
Trivia[]
- Despite her being around in her 60s-80s she is not the oldest IF in the movie
- An Instagram post from Paramount Plus reveals that nobody has any idea what it is that Blossom dislikes. However, it is likely that, due to her status as an IF, actually dancing on stage in front of a crowd of people might be one thing Blossom dislikes, as she is possibly afraid of embarassing herself on stage.
