~ Blueberry Muffin when Apple Dumplin' appears. |
Blueberry Muffin is a character from the Strawberry Shortcake series. The character is the seventh character to be introduced, after Huckleberry Pie. Following her debut, Muffin became a series regular except in the 2003 series, which reduced her role a tad bit. Her pet is a mouse called Cheesecake.
Muffin is voiced by Susan Roman, sharing her voice actress with Crepe Suzette and Ada from the same series.
Description[]
Personality[]
Blueberry Muffin is a smart girl, much like Plum Puddin' was, so after his disappearance, she became the real smartest. She is also more mature than the rest. She is the most well-mannered. She is also able to understand the notes given to her by Apple Dumplin', a trait that she shares with the Peculiar Purple Pieman of Porcupine Peak.
Appearance[]
Blueberry Muffin has a blue short dress with long sleeves and a blue hat on her head. A cluster of blueberries is pictured on her hat. Her hair is blue and is tied in pigtails. Freckles appear on her cheeks. In the show, Muffin is shown with purple bows to tie her hair into pigtails that her artwork replaces with ribbons and what appears to be blue Mary Jane shoes that said artwork replaces with blue loafers whose upper sides have green tops.
Pets[]
Blueberry was seen without pets in the first two episodes, but starting from the third episode, Pets on Parade, Cheesecake was introduced as her pet. His appearance is a standard pale tan-ish mouse who has what seems to be bluish-white shorts.
Trivia[]
- Blueberry Muffin implies that her ability to translate Apple Dumplin's "written language" is a unique ability, but the Peculiar Purple Pieman of Porcupine Peak can also read what Apple Dumplin' writes after his defeat. She may have been under his surveillance during prior scenes, however.
- She is also the first Strawberry Shortcake character who acts as a translator.
