History[]
Original Timeline[]
Deadly Alliance[]
Bo' Rai Cho was a teacher of many great warriors, such as Liu Kang and Shujinko. Despite living in Earthrealm, he was actually from Outworld and though he had the skills to participate in a Mortal Kombat tournament, Bo' Rai Cho couldn't since his victory would allow Shao Kahn to take the Earthrealm. After Liu Kang was killed by the Deadly Alliance, Kung Lao went to Bo' Rai Cho for training on how to defeat Shang Tsung.,He then went to Outworld while the Earthrealm warriors prepared to fight the Deadly Alliance and spied on the two sorcerers, rescuing another Outworldian fighter, Li Mei. Focusing on saving the girl, he wished Raiden and the other Earthrealmers luck.
Deception[]
Sadly, this battle would end in disaster, and the threat of Onaga the Dragon King would rise. Bo' Rai Cho and Li Mei regrouped with Outworld's forces, but was left despondent at the seemingly overwhelming odds. However, at his lowest moment, he was visited by the spirit of Liu Kang, who managed to encourage his old mentor. The reinvigorated Bo' Rai Cho managed to form an alliance among Outworld's leaders, and was put in command of Kitana's army. Bo' Rai Cho and his army actually managed to defeat the Tarkatans, with his personally besting Baraka, inspiring the people of Outworld to rebel against Onaga(Little did he know, but this was originally intended to be a trap by Mileena, who was posing as Kitana, meaning he had managed to turn this intended final defeat into a turning point).
Armageddon[]
In his ending in Armageddon, Bo' Rai Cho's defeat of Blaze teleported him before the Elder Gods, who then appointed him the protector god of Outworld.

Quotes[]
“ | I have dealt with Tarkatan warriors before. Baraka and his mutant thugs were easy to evade as I entered Shang Tsung's palace to rescue Li Mei. I had arrived not a moment too soon. I snatched her away from the Deadly Alliance and swiftly carried her to safety. An alarm was sounded, and hordes of Tarkatan pursued us across the main bridge. On the other side of the palace bridge, I was met by Earthrealm's thunder god, Raiden, and his band of heroes marching to battle the Deadly Alliance. I bid them a glorious victory, but my primary concern was Li Mei's safety. I have since learned of the disaster that took place at the palace. The Dragon King had indeed returned, as legends foretold. Without our Earthrealm allies, I fear for Outworld's future. | „ |
