BoCo is a supporting character from The Railway Series and the TV Adaptation Thomas & Friends. He is a large Diesel Engine who was sent to Sodor for trial but proved that he was good enough to keep on the railway.
Portrayals[]
- In his Debut appearance he is voiced by Ringo Starr in the UK Dub and In the US dub by the late George Carlin.
- In Season 4 he was voiced in the UK Dub by the late Michael Angelis.
- In the Season 5 US dub he was Voiced by Alec Baldwin who also played Mr. Conductor in Thomas and the Magic Railroad.
Appearance[]
BoCo is a BR Class 28 also known as a Cobo. He is green with the number D5702 on his side with a red buffer beam. he has a yellow face in the books but a grey face in the TV Show.
Personality[]
Unlike many other Diesels, BoCo is very kind and friendly. However he will put other Engines in place when he feels it necessary.

- His number comes from a real BR Class 28.
- He has a Brother (most likely D5701) that appears in the The Railway Series Book: Enterprising Engines.
- Many of his faces where re-used for Daisy the Diesel Railcar.
