Bob the Plax is a minor antagonist turned supporting character in Sonic the Comic Online!, the webcomic continuation of Sonic the Comic comic book series. He is the last known surviving Plax, and the only member of the species not belonging to the group's hive mind. Starting off as an inept League of Super-Evil Villains member, he eventually managed to go straight, becoming a hero and joining the Cybernix.
Biography[]
Past[]
Bob was one of the Plax, extremely xenophobic artificial life forms. Something went wrong during Bob's creation, causing him to be excluded from the species' hive mind. This led to the other Plax exiling Bob, until he somehow found himself on Mobius. Unaware of the other Plax' demise at the hands of Dr. Ivo Robotnik, he was still fearful of them finding him. At some point, he joined the League of Super-Evil Villains.
Sonic the Comic Online![]
Bob's first known mission alongside the League was a bank robbery in Metropolis Zone, which failed miserably. At a later point, he quit the League for unknown reasons and tried himself out as a hero.
Alternate timeline[]
In the future ravaged by Super Sonic, known from that point on as "Iblis", Bob was one of the heroes assembled under the command of Amy Rose, and was eventually killed in a gruesome way while attempting to make a heroic last stand. These events were wiped from history due to Super Sonic's defeat in the present.
Current timeline[]
Bob became part of Shortfuse's own hero team, the Cybernix, and helped his new comrades out on at least one mission.
