Bobby Fulbright (Japanese: Gōzō Ban) is a posthumous character in Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies. He was a detective who seeks to serve justice and help Prosecutor Simon Blackquill in attempt to redeem him or when taken to court. It was up until he died from an unknown circumstance before being taken over from The Phantom.
History[]
In 2026 Fulbright died from an unknown circumstance (being implied be was murdered) with no one finding out about his death until Miles Edgeworth reveals the court about his unidentified body that was found.
A mysterious spy known as The Phantom took over the late detective realizing the Fulbright Phoenix, Apollo, Athena and Simon they talked to was an imposter. It was not until the retrial of the UR-1 Incident that the phantom has finally been brought to justice after the reveal of his body.
Personality[]
Bobby can be considered very enthusiastic about his work while also having a strong sense of justice. As a detective he was very competent as he doesn't overlook important things during the investigation. He can also be caught up on deciding which side is true justice. Even though Simon Blackquill was consistently ordering him around and calling him "Fool Bright" Bobby doesn't seem to mind or care for the attitude.
Although The Phantom did took his place it can be argued that the personality was exactly the same as the real one was the phantom can mimic anyone in terms of personally and emotions.
