Bobert is a supporting character in The Amazing World of Gumball. He is a high-tech robot that attends Elmore Junior High, and is by far the smartest student in the school.
He is voiced Kerry Shale.
History
Bobert is usually a supporting character in most episodes. However he is the main villain in the episode "The Robot". He is the main hero in the episode "The Agent" where he saves Gumball and Darwin from William.
Personality
Bobert, being a robot, has trouble processing human emotions and necessities. He is very analytical and mathematical, calculating all that he observes into a mathematical formula of some sort. Despite this, Bobert is known to occasionally be jealous of his organic classmates, and on at least one occasion has attempted to become a real boy, resulting on one occasion stealing Gumball's identity, stealing his family and best friend, receiving a kiss on the lips, and being offered a date with Penny. He was a member of the Reject Club along with Colin, Felix, and Ocho. He doesn't wish to have an upgrade and instead prefers to be accepted for the robotic companion he is, as seen in "The Upgrade". In "The Agent" he is more expressive and human-like. He asks for his arms to be returned and he is direct towards Gumball. He is quite innocent. Notably he takes words literally. Overall he is a caring and quite heroic robot in most episodes. Sometimes he is brave, protective and helpful. He hugged Gumball and Darwin.
Appearance
Bobert is a small white robot with clamps for hands and a speaker for a mouth, which flashes green when he talks. In the middle of his head is a large, pale gray eye which can record audio and video. There is a thick black rim around his eye. His arms are black.
