Book is a major protagonist of the animated web-series Battle for Dream Island.
As her name suggests, she is a green and blue book who first competed in the second season of BFDI, BFDIA, where she is currently still in the running, she was also apart of FreeSmart until leaving in BFB due to Pencil and Match's treatment of her in Ice Cube, she is currently competing in TPOT. She is the also the best friend of Ice Cube and the archenemy of Evil Leafy.
She is voiced by Michael Huang.
Appearance[]
Book is a hardcover object with a green and teal front. The surface is flat, with the front displaying a smooth, even color and a neatly defined outline. Along the side, her white pages are visible, straight and uniform, showing no signs of wear or bending.
Her design includes thin black stick-like arms and legs emerging from the cover’s edges, contrasting with the green and teal tones. Her face is placed directly on the front cover, consisting of simple black eyes and a mouth, positioned to stand out clearly against the green background.
Inside of her are many white pages that were made to be sentient, as seen with her prize in BFDIA 15, pages like Leafy's diary, bios of all the contestants, are in her pages. It's unknown if the pages are all sentient given how we haven't seen them act sentient since BFDIA 15.
Personality[]
Book is a character known for her kindness, intelligence, and willingness to help others. She often serves as the voice of reason among her peers, offering guidance and support when needed. Her thoughtful nature makes her a reliable ally, and she consistently strives to do what's best for her team. Despite her gentle demeanor, Book is not afraid to stand up for what she believes is right, even if it means confronting others or challenging the status quo.
Throughout her appearances, Book has demonstrated a strong sense of empathy and a deep concern for the well-being of those around her. She is quick to offer assistance and is always ready to lend a helping hand. Her intelligence allows her to approach problems with a clear and logical mindset, making her an invaluable asset in strategic situations. While she may not always be the loudest voice in the room, her actions speak volumes about her character and commitment to her friends and teammates.

Season 1[]
Book was one of the recommended characters who was offered a chance to join the show as a debuter, she and 29 others were given a chance to audition, in Book's audition, she stated that she was a dictionary and that the audience better believe it.
When it was time for the contestants to debut, Book had only received 8 votes, which wasn't enough to debut, the Announcer told her this. She is shocked about this and says that if you look dictionary up in her, it says the one who will win dream island. The Announcer states that this isn't true before flinging her away to the Locker of Losers.

Trivia[]
- Book's name was originally Dictionary, however it was changed to Book later on in season 2.
- She is still sometimes refereed as Dictionary though.
- It's unknown why Book actually left the alliance, as Pencil had never really mistreated her or Ice Cube atall in BFDIA, and her behavior only worsened in BFB and TPOT.
- It's likely IDFB might fix this.
- Currently, she is probably the most likely person to win BFDIA, as she is the most likable contestant left in, so it's likely she will win.
