Boothill is a major playable character from the 2023 science fantasy turn-based tactical role-playing video game Honkai: Star Rail. He is a cyborg cowboy affiliated with the Galaxy Rangers, with a rather heated temper, deep grudge against the IPC, and a dirty mouth that is "filtered" by his Synesthesia Beacon to make it sound milder. In the Penacony storyline, he's looking for Acheron, thinking that she's an impostor.
Appareance[]
Just like most of the characters in Honkai Star Rail. Boothill is a humanoid alien with a human-like appareance, but with most of his body being covered in cybernetic modifications. He is tall, slim and slighty muscular with long white hair with black streaks and bangs that cover the left eyes accompained by sharp teeth and black eyes with red pupils that rimmed by a white target-shaped reticle. He also wear a golden yellow bullet-shaped earring in the right ear.
His clothing consists in a blackish-grey cowboy hat with a strip of red, star shaped emblems, a feather, and two golden yellow bullets overlapping on the front of the hat. A long red and black scarf around his neck accompained by black jacket with golden-yellow zippers that shows his scarred torso and three star keychains on the right, a few patches on the left and black pants with a brown belt with a golden-yellow fivel, a brown holster and black boots that is connected to his body.
Personality[]
Extremely optimistic and unrestrained, Boothill is a good-hearted man who swore to punish the wretched by any and all means possible. His flamboyant and brash actions were all to draw the attention of the Interastral Peace Corporation — the target of his revenge. Boothill also fights for the downtrodden of the galaxy and has a justified vendetta against the IPC, though his methods often leave a lot to be desired.
Abilities[]
Boothill excels at quickly Weakness Breaking enemies and dealing Break damage onto them, helped with his Skill which forces a target into a "duel" with him and enhances his basic attack; whenever he "wins" a duel, he gains an enhancement that lets him Break his target with basic attack more easily and strengthens his Break Damage, up to 3 times. His Ultimate and Technique can also implant Physical weakness onto his chosen targets.
