Biography[]

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance[]

Boyd was first introduced as Ike's training partner in the Prologue, which he lost against Ike. He was then deployed alongside with Oscar, Ike, and Titania to dispose a group of bandits led by Zawana. Him and Oscar then joined with Ike and Rhys to help Mist and Rolf as they were locked in a shack, which led them to be confined to quarters for disobeying orders. After him and the rest of the mercenaries succeeded in defending the fort against Dakova and his troops, everyone packed up and moved out of the fort. He followed Ike in crossing the borders to Gallia and succeeded. They made their way to an abandoned fort, where they were ambushed by Daein soldiers led by Balmer. After Balmer was killed, the rest of the mercenaries regrouped with Greil, where they were surrounded by the Daein troops led by Petrine. Fortunately, Ranulf and the rest of the Gallian beasts forced the troops to retreat. After Greil was murdered, Boyd and Oscar were seen returning after their attempts to pursue Gatrie and Shinon failed. Boyd was seen scolding Rolf for entering the battlefield, but much to no avail, he warns Rolf to stick by his side. On the boat, the three brothers were seen practicing on a new technique, the Triangle Attack. Boyd, alongside with Oscar and Rolf, was later then seen witnessing Rajaion roaring at Ena as she laid on him when Ashnard was killed. He was also seen congratulating Ike for the victory of the war but not without taking some credit for himself.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn[]

Boyd and the rest of the Greil Mercenaries were introduced in a cutscene when they arrived to stop the rebellion. He later encountered his stepmother who he resented for abandoning the family as their father was dying. As his stepmother snuck into the camp, Boyd quickly told her to get lost after revealing to her that their father passed away after she abandoned them and that they would have died had Oscar not resigned from the Crimean Royal Knights. He was displeased when Oscar reluctantly went and sought out Rolf as she requested since she is still Rolf's mother. After Rolf refused to talk to her, he pleaded for Boyd to not give him away as the Greil Mercenaries are a family to him, which Boyd agreed not to as he comforted him. After a certain amount of deaths in the battle against the Dawn Brigade and the Daein troops, Boyd (if he has an A-rank support with Mist) called for Ike to carry Mist to safety as she fell unconscious alongside with Reyson. In his ending after Ashera was defeated, Boyd returns home and trained daily to not be surpassed by any rookie. If he has an A-rank support with Mist, he is married to her.
