Bradley "Brad" Smith is one of the five main protagonists of the first installment of Supermassive Games' The Dark Pictures Anthology Series, Man of Medan. He is the younger brother of Alex. Brad is voiced and motion captured by Chris Sandford and was modeled on Tom Weston.
Biography[]
Brad was born on February 18, 2001 and with his older brother Alex was raised in a typical American middle class family. His interest in World War II began when Brad learned that his grandfather was in the Navy. He wanted to understand what his grandfather went through and that got him hooked. He's very smart, but doesn't know what he wants to learn, so he decided to take a sabbatical to think it over.
On June 20, 2019, Brad, along with his brother Alex, Alex's girlfriend Julia, and Julia's brother Conrad went on a summer vacation to French Polynesia. With the help of Fliss, skipper of the Duke of Milan which they would stay in for the trip, Brad was able to enjoy his trip. While pirates were kidnapping everyone else and were taken aboard, Brad hid under the bed in the Duke of Milan and entered the freighter in order to help everyone escape. In the weather deck, Brad along with the other survivors, attempt to retrieve the distributor cap for the Duke from Olson. If successful, he will escape and survive the game. If the distributor cap is destroyed, he will get on the Duke and drift at sea until dying of heatstroke.
Personality[]
Brad is witty and innocent.
He is also smart as he knows a lot about the WWII era and was intelligent enough to hide when the pirates boarded their boat. Throughout the game, Brad shows bravery when trying to get everyone to safety despite being afraid.
