Brago is one of the main supporting characters in the anime, Zatch Bell. He is a cool mamodo kid who has the ability to control gravity. His goal is to become a strong and powerful king. Likewise, he is a sullen and serious contender. Brago mellows a bit in the tournament and gains more drive. He strives to be a 'strict, but kind' king. His power is Gravity.
He is voiced by Kazunari Kojima in the Japanese version in the anime, and by Wally Wingert in the English version of the anime.
Overview[]
Brago is generally an embodiment of gravity. While being a remorseless jerk and willing to kill to get his way at first, he comes to be a strong aid to the good guys, although it seems that it's only when he feels like it. Also, he has developed a strong bond to his bookkeeper Sherry.
Personality[]
In his initial debut, Brago comes off as generally rude and doesn't think highly of humans until he undergoes some character development. He desires to become a strict, but kind king. When Zatch grows stronger, Brago acknowledges it without a hint of resentment. He also acts as though Sherry's weakness frustrates him, but he cares for her far more than he lets on. He actually does manage to be openly affectionate towards her as his book is burning.
