Brain is one of the two tritagonists of Igor. He is a robotic brain in a jar who serves as Igor's assistant along with Scamper. Running gag in the film is Scamper always calling him "Brian" because Brain misspelled it with permeating marker. Brain later tapes a piece of paper over the writing with the correct spelling.
He was voiced by Sean Hayes, who also voiced The Fish in The Cat in the Hat, Terri Perry in Monsters University and Pete in Tangled.
Personality[]
In the film, Brain serves as a comic relief character, as he is very unintelligent and quite talkative, which makes him rather annoying. Despite this, Brain is very loyal to friends Igor, Scamper and Eva and would do anything to help them. Brain can be quite childish at times, such as playing with a string of ribbon and asking Igor for toy. Though not very intelligent, Brain can be smart whenever he needs to be, as he convinced Igor to step up and save Eva when he gives up hope, proving that Brain has a heart.
Appearance[]
Brain is red cylinder-shaped robot with a large brain connected with wires in a transplanted life support jar sealed with a cork on top. He has two different colored eyes, his right eye is green while his left eye is purple, and a mouth formed with blue electricity. He has a long orange and yellow-striped arm with a claw and has several visible screws on his arm. His body is connected to a gold scissor-lift tray with three black wheels. He also has black permanent marker on his jar spelled "Brian", as misspelled for Brain, but later taped with a piece of paper with Brain spelled correctly.
